Multiple tools, including two chainsaws, a grinder, and a welding helmet were stolen from a residence on Oakhill-Alpine Road last week.

On September 20th, Chattooga County Sheriffs Deputies met with Ricky Ellison in regards to a theft that had occurred on his property. Ellison stated that he had last seen his missing items on Friday, September 17th. The only time he had been away from home between Friday and discovering the tools missing on Saturday evening was between the hours of 3pm and 11pm on Friday the 17th. The items were taken from a building on his property. Several items, including a Black and Decker Chainsaw and hedge trimmers, Husqvarna Chainsaw and leaf blower were located under an open portion of the building, while the rest were located inside the building. Ellison was able to provide the serial numbers to several of the missing items as well as owners manuals.

The missing items are listed as a Black and Decker hedge trimmer and cordless chainsaw, Husqvarna Chainsaw and leaf blower, Milwakee sawzall, Craftsman grinder, Milwakee drill, 2 welding helmets, and 2 Craftsman buffers. The case is still active and under investigation.
