The City of Summerville Municipal Court was to have met tomorrow, but Municipal Court Judge Tracy Maddux along with the City of Summerville has made the decision to put off all court cases that were to be held tomorrow and postpone court proceedings until October.

The decision was made because of the rising number of COVID-19 cases in Chattooga County.

Judge Maddux also serves as Municipal Court Judge for the Town of Trion.  According to Trion Court Clerk Julie Stephens, all Trion City court cases have been put on hold for the time being.
