The National Day of Prayer will be observed today in Chattooga County.  Community and church leaders in Chattooga County are planning for the event.

At 7:00 PM on May 1^st, a special service is planned at the Chattooga High school stadium.  Pastor Jamey Godwin will be speaking along with Betty Mosely of the Chattooga County Prayer Force.  Local school, government and judicial officials will be in attendance. 

There will be  a presentation by the Subligna Baptist Church Choir, as well as The Summerville Church of God drama team.

The Pennville Alliance Church will have it’s doors open all day today for anyone in the community that wishes to stop by and pray.  The church will be serving Lunch today from 11 a.m. until 12:30.
