The National Day of Prayer is Thursday, May 2.  The event will be recognized locally at 6 p.m. that day at the Chattooga Civic Center.

The event will include prayers for our nation. Pastor Francois Carr, from South Africa of Hearts Cry Ministry, will be the featured speaker at the civic center.

This year is the 62nd Day of Prayer in America. Themed Pray for America, the national verse is Matthew 12:21. The Chattooga focus verse is 2 Chronicles 7:14
