A thirty-seven-year-old Nebraska man was arrested last week for aggravated assault, robbery, false imprisonment, aggravated battery, and terroristic threats and acts.

According to Floyd County Jail Records, Martin Mendoza-Pablo of a West 4th street (Grand Island NE) address was arrested after he allegedly choked a victim until they passed out in an incident that occurred back on August 15th at a residence on Wilson Avenue in Rome.

Mendoza-Pablo took away the victim’s cell phone and threatened to kill the victim if they called law enforcement. Police stated that Mendoza-Pablo also assaulted the victim causing visible injuries to their face and eyes and locked them in a room for hours.
