It looks as though there will be some new jobs available in northwest Georgia in the not too distant future – Bartow County is reportedly getting a new automotive-related plant.
A Dutch manufacturer will build the plant to supply aluminum parts to companies such as Volkswagen, BMW and Mercedes across the southeast.
Located just north of Cartersville, the plant will employ 150 high-tech workers by 2019 and production is slated to actually begin in 2017.
