People who travel in the Big Texas Valley area of Floyd County need to watch for new weight restrictions on a bridge on Big Texas Valley Road.  Floyd County Public Works announced late last week that there will be new weight restrictions on Cabin Creek Bridge.  Two-axle trucks (H-truck) are limited to 16 tons.  Type-3 trucks are also limited to 16 tons and timber trucks are limited to 21 tons.  Anyone with questions should contact Floyd County Public Works at 706-236-2495.
