This week AM 1180 will feature several Newsmakers Interviews.

On Wednesday we will broadcast a Newsmakers Interview with Chattooga County School Superintendent Jimmy Lenderman.  Mr. Lenderman will be addressing his policy on school cancellations and early release for students during inclement weather.  Lenderman said that some parents have questioned how he makes that decision and he will address those questions during the broadcast.

Then on Thursday, AM 1180 will feature a Newsmakers Interview with State Senator Jeff Mullis.  Mullis was named chairman of the Rules Committee in the Georgia State Senate, a powerful position in Atlanta.  We will talk with Senator Mullis about this appointment and his outlook for the legislative session.

On Friday, we will broadcast a Newsmakers Interview with State Representative Eddie Lumsden who was sworn into office last week.  We will talk with Rep. Lumsden about his committee appointments and legislation that may affect residents in the eleventh district.  We will broadcast the interview with Rep. Lumsden on Friday of this week.

Newsmakers Interviews are heard following the 8 AM newscast and then again in the noon hour following the Trading Post Program.  Also, after the interviews have aired on AM 1180 Chattooga County Radio we will post them to our blog so you can listen at your convenience.
