A twenty-seven-year-old woman was sentenced to three years probation and ordered to go through a drug treatment program after appearing in Chattooga County Superior Court.  Haley Nichole Nichols had been charged with theft by receiving stolen property, financial transaction card theft and possession of methamphetamine.  Nichols has been arrested several times over the past two years on a variety of charges.  In February of this year, she was arrested for shoplifting at the Dollar Store on Commerce Street in Summerville.  Last year, Nichols was charged with criminal trespass after she was found hiding in a closet at an apartment in Summerville. She was also accused of shoplifting over $500 worth of merchandise from Bryant & Sons Lumber Company in September of last year.
