Three people in Northwest Georgia lost their lives to COVID-19 over the past week according to numbers released Wednesday by the Georgia Department of Public Health.  Two were in Bartow County and the other in Polk County.  Two more deaths may have been linked to COVID-19 – one each in Bartow and Polk County.  Chattooga County saw nine new COVID-19 cases during the latest reporting period.  Statewide, there were twenty-five COVID-19 deaths reported and 3,539 new cases over the past seven days.
