The Northwest Georgia Department of Public Health says that none of the health departments in the ten-county region are dispensing COVID rapid tests for the public to take home.

A report in the Atlanta news media caused a problem at the Floyd County Health Department this week, after residents said that they heard on the news that the take-home tests were available.

Logan Boss, with the Northwest Georgia Department of Public Health told WZQZ News that it has not been an issue in Chattooga County, or any other of the counties in the region with the exception of Floyd County.
