Car, truck and motorcycle enthusiasts will have a chance to show off their rides while supporting local community programs when the North Georgia Cruisers hold their annual show in Chattooga County next month.

The North Georgia Cruisers Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show is scheduled for Saturday, September 12, at the Chattooga County Ag Center.

The event will take place rain or shine, with the Ag Center’s covered parking area providing protection in case of unfavorable weather.

Organizers say all cars are welcome to participate, giving owners of everything from classics to modern muscle cars an opportunity to take part.

Registration will begin at 8 a.m. on September 12, with an entry fee of $25 per vehicle.

Trophies will be presented in both Classic and Modern Muscle categories. A special award will also be presented to the oldest registered participant.

Participants will have opportunities to win cash prizes during the event, including a $100 giveaway, a $300 second-place prize and a $700 grand prize.

Beyond the cars, trucks, motorcycles and prizes, the annual event also serves a charitable purpose. Proceeds from the show will benefit a variety of local community programs.

The North Georgia Cruisers show has become an opportunity for area vehicle enthusiasts to gather, display their rides and enjoy a day at the Chattooga County Ag Center while helping support programs in the community.
