Trinity Rail Car in Cartersville has announced that they are closing the doors on their NW Georgia facility. The company notified the Georgia Department of Labor that 659 jobs will be lost as they areas shutting down operations at its rail car manufacturing plant in Cartersville. Job eliminations are scheduled to begin June 29 and continue every weekend through Aug. 7.  The company says that employees should have no expectation of being recalled. Two vice-presidents of the firm will be losing their jobs along with 14 superintendents, indicating that the company is trimming jobs from top to bottom
