According to the latest numbers from the Georgia Department of Public Health (GDPH), COVID-19 cases continue to decline.

Last week, the GDPH announced that they would start a weekly reporting system for COVID-19 instead of the daily reports on the department’s online dashboard.   New weekly reports will be issued every Wednesday, starting April 20th.

The latest numbers show that there are five new cases in Northwest Georgia as of this past Friday.  There were a total of four COVID patients in Rome hospitals as of Friday.
