The book deals with the struggles of a 14 year old boy that was depressed and doused himself with gasoline and burns himself suffering burns over 85% of his body and the recovery that takes place afterwords.

School officials in Catoosa County removed the book from both middle school and high school library’s.  Walker County has removed the book from middle school libraries.  Dade County still has the book on the shelf, but is considering removing it as well.
