AT 835 PM EST… NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS THAT STRETCHED FROM ABOUT 35 MILES WEST OF STEPHENSVILLE TO AROUND 60 MILES WEST OF CHATTOOGAVILLE… AND MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH.

BRIEF HEAVY DOWNPOURS… AND OCCASIONAL CLOUD-TO-GROUND LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE THROUGH THE LATE EVENING HOURS IN WHITFIELD… WALKER… CATOOSA… CHATTOOGA… DADE AND FLOYD COUNTIES. DRIVERS SHOULD USE CAUTION AS BRIEF HEAVY RAINFALL WILL REDUCE VISIBILITIES
