Several staff at Oakview Nursing Home submitted signed witness statements to the Summerville Police Department last Wednesday, alleging that a kitchen worker at the facility has been exhibiting bizarre behavior while at work.

Around 5 PM, an SPD officer met Stephanie Broome, Oakview’s director of nursing, who provided witness statements by herself and several nursing staff members which accused kitchen worker Lakeisha Williams of “unacceptable behavior to her coworkers”.

One statement alleges that Williams has said that “she wants to cut people up and feed them to residents at the nursing home”.

The report was filed to have a record of the incident, and reports do not indicate that any charges were filed. Reports also do not indicate if Williams received any disciplinary action, was terminated, etc.

Ms. Broome was advised to call 9-1-1 if any problems arose again with Williams.
