A Chattooga County man is charged with obstruction of officers and disorderly conduct after fleeing from officers and trying to kick out a patrol car window Saturday.
At about 3:30 a.m. Saturday, deputies were dispatched to Tron Teloga Road to a domestic in progress. An intoxicated Jason Rogers apparently went into the woods and said he was going to hang himself there. He also allegedly threatened to beat up law enforcement when they arrived.
Rogers reportedly fled from officers once he saw them in the woods and then tripped and fell, and was apprehended. He was taken to the Chattooga County Jail.
