A break in the weather is expected on Friday night, with a 30 percent chance of showers before 8 pm, followed by mostly clear skies and a low around 56 degrees. Saturday is forecast to be sunny with a high near 80 degrees. However, occasional isolated thunderstorms could return to North Georgia on Sunday afternoon.
