The new O’Reilly store on Commerce Street in Summerville will be open for business today.

O’Reilly Auto Parts announced plans last year to build a new store at the former Hardee’s location at 10424 Commerce Street in Summerville after acquiring Hammond Auto Parts. 

O’Reilly operates stores in LaFayette, Rome, Calhoun and Fort Payne in surrounding counties.

The Missouri-based company has auto parts stores in 47 states in the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii.  O’Reilly Auto Parts was founded in 1957 and began with one store in Springfield, Missouri. There are currently 5,873 stores in 47 U.S. states and 27 stores in Mexico.
