Police in LaFayette arrested two pedestrians on drug charges – one who had warrants in Chattooga County.
WQCH reports the two pedestrians were arrested after a LaFayette Police Officer reported he saw one of them drop a baggie to the ground, while he watched.
Thirty-two-year-old Brandon Paul Day was charged with meth possession after the baggie, recovered near the Pit Stop on Chattanooga Street, tested positive for the drug.
The other pedestrian, thirty-two-year-oldĀ Lauren Elizabeth Whitten, had three outstanding arrest warrants from Walker and Chattooga Counties.
