University of Louisville running back, and former Chattooga High School multi-sport athlete, Senorise Perry will miss the rest of the season after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament during the Louisville Cardinals' first loss Saturday, coach Charlie Strong said.
ESPN quoted Strong saying, "He (Senorise) didn't take the news very well." Strong made the comment Monday at his weekly news conference. "He was having a great season, so he was disappointed."
Perry, a junior, rushed for 705 yards and 11 touchdowns this season on 136 carries. He had three 100-yard rushing games.
