Today is the day you can get your picture made free with the Jolly Old Elf from the North Pole as he makes his first Summerville appearance of the year on East Washington Street.
Chattooga County State Court Judge Jon Dennis says that people are welcome to stop by from 10 am till 1 pm, at 292 East Washington Street, photos with Santa beside his tree or at his desk. No appointment necessary. Judge Dennis says, “While a fee for this visit is neither expected or required, if you are moved to leave a gift of food or an unopened toy for boys and girls of all ages in the sleighs on the front porch.”
Judge Dennis says that this year, in addition to the Chattooga County Food Pantry, Santa will be collecting food and toys for distribution by South Summerville Baptist Church.
Anyone is welcome – including your furry friends – to have their picture made with Santa today on East Washington Street.
