The store manager with Piggly Wiggly in Armuchee has announced that the store will be closing in the near future.  There is no set day for the closing of the store, but they will begin to sell down their inventory until they reach a point that the store will be closed for good.  The manager, Jimmy Day said that the economy was the reason for the store’s closing.
