Plea negotiation with accused killer Theron Plummer resulted in a guilty plea Wednesday afternoon in front of Floyd County Superior Court Judge Tami Colston.

According to District Attorney Leigh Patterson, Plummer admitted to the shooting which claimed the life of his estranged wife, Kimberly Ware, in May of last year – he shot Ware a total of five times, while their five year old daughter and 16 year old step-son were both in the next room.

Plummer was eventually captured in Anniston, Alabama, after authorities traced his cell phone calls.

He was sentenced to Life in prison without Parole, plus 15 years.
