There are two contested local elections on the ballot for two important countywide positions and the candidates are having the opportunity to address the public.

The Chattooga County Chamber of Commerce has released short videos from the candidates for Probate Judge and County Commissioner.  The chamber asked the candidates to prepare and submit the videos and published them on the Chamber web site and social media page on Wednesday.

Also this evening, on SKY 21 Television (On-air 21.1 and Charter Cable Channel 5), the candidates will be participating in a debate.  Probate Judge Candidates Holley Strawn-Gilliland and Gary Woods will debate at 6 PM and Commissioner Candidates Blake Elsberry and Jimmy Holbrook will debate at 7 PM.
