The last day of November is also the last Election Day for 2010 for Georgia voters.  Today voters in Chattooga County and across the state will vote for two judge’s positions – one on the Georgia Supreme Court and the other on the Georgia Court of Appeals. The race between sitting Supreme Court Justice David Nahamias and challenger "Tammy" Adkins has shown some interesting endorsements,  with most of the politicians making endorsements have backed Nahamias, while many attorneys – including Summerville attorney Bobby Lee Cook – have voiced their support for Adkins. The race is non-partisan, and Nahamias has managed endorsements from Republicans Sonny Perdue, Saxby Chambless and Johnny Isakson as well as former chair of the Democratic Party of Georgia, Calvin Smyre – a state representative from Columbus.
