A Polk County jailer who was fired for violating policy was arrested last Friday on three misdemeanor counts of improper sexual contact.
18-year-old Jacob Lee Franklin was released on a $4,500 bond.
According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office:
The GBI was called in to assist with an investigation after Franklin was immediately terminated on September 5 for passing notes to a female inmate.
According to the arrest warrants, Franklin is accused of kissing and fondling three different female inmates on September 5, 2023.
