
A thirty-one-year-old Georgia Department of Corrections inmate has been indicted by the Chattooga County Grand Jury after allegations he participated in bringing methamphetamine into Hays State Prison in Trion.
Shondrez Daniels, who has been incarcerated since 2016, is currently serving time for armed robbery, stemming from an incident in Clayton County back in 2014.
Daniels was indicted by the grand jury for possession of methamphetamine, trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of contraband inside a state prison.
The Georgia Department of Corrections lists Daniels as currently being incarcerated at Hancock State Prison. He was scheduled for release in 2026.
