A Trion couple on Saturday reported that a possible prowler had messed with their rabbit cages and chicken coop. According to the report, the residents of the Wallace Road, Trion address said sounds were heard earlier during the night but no one was seen around the residence. However, it was noticed that several of the couple's rabbits were dead inside their cages. There reportedly were pry marks on the unlocked doors to the cages. Upon further inspection it was noticed that the wire fence on the chicken coop had been ripped loose. Strange sounds were also heard from the attic space that the couple believes were prowlers, according to the report. The report stated that children were asleep inside the room where the attic space door was located and no one was able to get on the roof to determine a possible entry point. The couple were advised that extra patrol would be added to the area.
