Chattooga County Emergency Management Agency in conjunction with Lyerly, Menlo, Summerville and Trion will host a public hearing February 16, 2011 at 10 am at Chattooga County Civic Center at 44 Highway 48, Summerville.  The hearing will inform citizens about the purpose of the Hazard Mitigation Plan Update.  Citizens are encouraged to attend and provide community input on decreasing the impact of local natural hazards.
