Chattooga County Emergency Services will be hosting a Public Safety Recognition Day coming up on September 12 at 10 AM.  Various public safety agencies in Chattooga County will be recognized for their service on this day.  The event will be held at the Chattooga County High School parking lot.

There will be a firefighter competition, a crash re-enactment, a K-9 demonstration by the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Department and Lifeforce Helicopter at the event.  There will be activities for kids of all ages.

The event is sponsored by the Chattooga County Mutual Aid Association.
