Chattooga County Tax Commissioner Joy Hampton says that her office has sent out over 700 tax bills to people who purchased real estate in 2022.  The tax commissioner says those bills went in the mail this week, and the bills are also now able to be viewed on the tax commissioner’s web site.  Property taxes in Chattooga County are due on December 1st.  Tax bills for other property owners were sent out previously.  If you have questions about your tax bill, you may contact the Chattooga County Tax Commissioner’s office at 706-857-0703.  You can find the Chattooga County Tax Commissioner’s website HERE
