The Chattooga County Chapter of Quail Forever will hold a meeting coming up on Thursday of this week.  The meeting will take place at 7 PM at the Chattooga County Ag Building.  Miranda Gulsby will be the guest speaker.  Gulsby is a wildlife biologist with Quail Forever who works to develop habitat for wildlife through better soil management and sustainable agriculture.  Prior to joining Quail Forever, Gulsby received her Master of Science from Kennesaw State University. She also worked in wildlife conservation for the University of Georgia, conducting research on gopher tortoises and other wildlife native to the longleaf pine savannas of South Georgia. Gulsby’s connection to the state is deep-rooted. She was born and raised in Georgia and has spent her professional career promoting wildlife conservation.  Anyone interested in learning more is welcome to attend the Chattooga County Chapter of Quail Forever meeting on Thursday evening.
