There are no contested local races on the Democratic Ballot. If you want to vote in contested local races, you will need to pull a Republican ballot.
You can vote in the Republican Primary and still vote for a Democrat or Democrats in November. You can vote in the Democratic Primary and vote for a Republican or Republicans in November.
If you received an absentee ballot, but decided you want to vote in person, you should bring the absentee ballot with you and give it to the poll worker at your polling place and tell them you want to vote in person.
If you requested an absentee ballot and you no longer have the ballot, you should tell the poll worker that you want to vote in person, but you do not have your absentee ballot. At that point, they should ask you to sign an affidavit and allow you to vote.
If the poll worker tells you that you cannot vote because you requested an absentee ballot, you should tell the poll worker to call the Registrar at 706-857-0739 while you are there to work out the situation.
Remember, no campaigning within 150 feet of the corners of any polling place. That goes for candidates and supporters. That includes, t-shirts, hats, buttons etc. It is illegal and you can be cited for doing so. Judge Payne told WZQZ to tell everyone “Let’s all be nice!”
