There's always extra things to throw away during the holidays and Chattooga County residents are being asked to please recycle this holiday season.  

The county government is urging residents to take advantage of the recycling facilities at each of the county's remote dumpster locations and at the facility on Stockade Road in Summerville. Residents should separate their recyclables and put them in the separate bins at the various remote dump site locations.  

Recycling brings money back into Chattooga County, and it is the environmentally friendly thing to do.
