Redmond Emergency Medical Services was named Georgia’s 2009 EMS Service of the Year at the annual Georgia Association of Emergency Medical Services awards banquet.

Redmond EMS was chosen from 15 other regional nominees within the state. This is the first time Redmond EMS has received the statewide Service of the Year award. In March Redmond EMS was named Service of the Year for Region 1, an honor previously held in 2004.

The statewide award is given annually to an EMS provider that exemplifies outstanding professionalism and service to the community.
