The ceremony honored employees celebrating significant anniversaries of years worked at the hospital and with HCA.
Anniversaries being recognized began with 5 years of service and increased in increments of 5.
This year, awards of up to 35 years of service were given to approximately 190 associates. Together, associates receiving awards had worked a total of 2165 years at Redmond.
Jim Martin, Food and Nutritional Service’s Production Manager, received the Selfless Service Award, in honor of his dedication to his hospital, employees as well as the community.
The awards were presented by John Quinlivan, CEO of Redmond to each recipient and announced by Carlton Ulmer, Redmond COO. John Quinlivan spoke at the ceremony, congratulating the employees on their accomplishment and complimenting their dedication to a career of making a difference in the lives of others. The local band, Pollard Greens, entertained the audience for the evening.
Quinlivan says, “The founder of our company, Dr. Thomas Frist Sr. always said, ‘Good people beget good people.’ And that is what makes Redmond such a special place. I am amazed at the longevity we have in our Redmond family and it truly shows that it is the people that make an organization what it is. It was my honor to present these awards.”
