U.S Representative Marjorie Taylor-Greene, who represents Chattooga County and all of the 14th Congressional District in Congress, says that securing the southern border, addressing the Federal governments overreach and representing the “values of Northwest Georgia”, are her priority for the current legislative session.

Greene was given seats on the House Oversight and Accountability Committee, the House Committee on Homeland Security and the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis. The House in 2021, then controlled by Democrats, voted to remove Greene from committee assignments over her social media activity that appeared to call for physical violence against Democrats.

Greene also congratulated the Georgia Bulldogs on the floor of the House after the Bulldogs second consecutive national championship.
