A lot of attention in the media has been focused on the two front-runners in the Republican race for governor – the seat that is currently held by Brian Kemp, but there are more than two people in the Primary race.

Republicans Catherine Davis, Kandiss Taylor and Tom Williams are also challenging Kemp.

The Republican primary will be held May 24. The winner will face Democrat Stacy Abrams on November 8th in the General Election.  Abrams has no opposition in the Democrat Primary.

Kandiss Taylor, a favorite of some of the most conservative members of the Republican Party, made campaign stops in Summerville, Chickamauga, Fort Oglethorpe, Ringgold, Dalton and Chatsworth.  Taylor met with supporters in Summerville in the parking lot between Marvin’s and McDonald’s.

Early voting in Georgia begins Monday.
