The Walker County Sheriff’s Department and WRCB Channel 3 Eyewitness News Crimestoppers are offering $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the murderer.


“The sheriff’s office has committed a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for this murder, as well as Crimestoppers is offering a $1,000 reward just for the tip that leads to the arrest,’ Walker County Sheriff Steve Wilson said.

“So that is a total of $2,000 that has been committed,” he said. “We have petitioned GBI for some reward money, so we are hopeful dangling some reward money out there might motivate someone to talk to us about this crime.”
