The City of Henagar is thrilled to announce its annual “May on the Mountain Bluegrass Festival” this Saturday, May 10th, at Henagar City Park. The FREE event promises a full day of incredible bluegrass music, kicking off at 10 AM Central Time and running until 5 PM.

This year’s festival is headlined by the “Queen of Bluegrass Music”, Rhonda Vincent, and her band, The Rage. A member of the Grand Ole Opry and a Grammy Award-winning recording artist, Vincent is a true legend in the bluegrass world. She boasts an impressive nineteen IBMA Awards, including the coveted Entertainer of the Year title in 2001 and a remarkable streak of consecutive Female Vocalist of the Year wins from 2000 to 2006.  The event will be a full day of bluegrass music with several groups performing throughout the day.
