Motorists traveling on Interstate 75 can expect delays next week as maintenance crews begin resurfacing work in Whitfield County, weather permitting. The project is set to take place on Monday, October 21, and Tuesday, October 22, from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day. On Monday, the right northbound lane of I-75 will be closed between mileposts 332 and 334, while Tuesday will see the left northbound lane closed between mileposts 337 and 339. Drivers are advised to plan accordingly and seek alternate routes if possible to minimize inconvenience during the resurfacing process. The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) urges all motorists to exercise caution in the work zones and to be mindful of reduced speed limits. The resurfacing is part of ongoing efforts to maintain and enhance road safety across the region. For further updates and information about road conditions, motorists are encouraged to check the GDOT website or local traffic reports.
