A Rock Spring couple was arrested on shoplifting charges this week stemming from an incident at Wal-Mart in Pennville on October 21.  According to the report released Friday a Wal-Mart associate witnessed the couple drive off with a pressure washer without paying for it.  The store associate was able to get a tag number off of the burgundy, GMC truck the couple was driving.

Then on Wednesday of this week a Chattooga County deputy saw the truck traveling in the Pennville area and initiated a traffic stop.  Thirty-four year old Christopher Paul Ingram of Rock Spring admitted to stealing the pressure washer and his passenger, thirty-seven year old Jamie Renae Swanson admitted to driving the truck the night of the shoplifting incident.  She also told the deputy that Ingram had sold the pressure washer to a friend.
