A bizarre case of harassment landed a Rocky Face man in jail.  According to a report from the Chattooga County sheriff’s office, the man called a Subligna-area pastor and his wife and began harassing them over the phone.

The first of the phone calls began on May 30th.  The pastor and his wife called the sheriff’s office, and while a responding deputy was on the scene, the couple received another phone call from the man who said that they were “destroying his family.”  The caller then said that he and “his satanists” would “destroy all churches.”

The deputy heard enough from the caller to get a warrant for the man’s arrest.

Fifty-six-year-old Kevin Langely was arrested and charged with terroristic threats and acts and harassment.
