A Rome man was charged with failure to have a license to serve alcohol, a misdemeanor, after a recent undercover operation, reports stated.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Fredrick Lamar Simpson, 34, of 6 Flora Ave., served alcoholic beverages at the Cadillac Club, 3367 Cave Spring St., but the club did not have a license to serve alcohol. He is one of the parties responsible for operating the club.

Simpson, who also had a probation hold, remained in jail on Friday night.
