A 38-year-old Rome man is accused of pointing a loaded firearm at police officers during an incident at his Flora Avenue home on August 8. According to Floyd County Jail records: Timothy Williams Tillery also told the officers he was going to beat them up and waved the gun in the direction of other people, while under the influence of alcohol. Tillery is charged with two counts of aggravated assault as well as single counts of terroristic threats and acts, and reckless conduct.
