Rome Police say that a twenty-one-year-old man was arrested on Sunday after he allegedly started shooting at a woman on East 16th Street.  According to arrest records, Keson Messiah Lovingood told his girlfriend that he was coming back to her house to “shoot it up”.  A two-year-old child was present at the time of the incidents, according to police. This isn’t Lovingood’s first arrest on firearm related charges.  In 2019, he was arrested after bringing a stolen gun to Pepperell High School.  Lovingood has been charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats, and acts, pointing or aiming a gun at another, and 3^rd-degree cruelty to children in connection with the latest charges.
