Rome City Police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened in the early hours of Sunday morning.  According to reports a 17 year old was shot in the back and arm at the Scottish Inn. 

The young man was indentified as Marlo S. Clowers, Jr. of Rome.  When police arrived on the scene a wittness told them the young man came running across the parking lot and fell onto the hood of his car saying he had been shot. 

The shooting victim went into cardiac arrest on the way to the hospital and died.  Police say that they have a security camera tape that they are reviewing. 

As of Sunday night no arrest had been made in the incident.
