There's been yet another armed robbery in Rome; this one happening at 2000 North Broad Street Tuesday morning at Rick’s High Tech, which is on the corner of North Avenue.

Sgt. Danny Story with the Rome PD said the suspect brandished a silver pistol and got away in a silver Honda with no tag – fleeing in the direction of Calhoun Avenue.

The suspect is described as a male, wearing a black ski mask and black hoodie.

This is the fourth armed robbery occurring in Floyd County since Friday night.

It all started at the Big H on East 12th Street last Friday evening when a black male wearing coveralls and a white mask pointed a small black gun at the clerk and demanded money; on Sunday night, a taxi driver was robbed at gunpoint – and early Monday morning, a masked man robbed the Garden Lakes Food Mart on Huffaker Road.

Thus far, no one has been injured in any of the robberies.
